ASPEN STONE
Furniture shaped by nature. Made by hand.
The bend of a branch. The edge of a stone. Furniture made by hand in Calgary, with the character of the natural materials left beautifully in view.
Process and philosophy
Guided by the Material
There is a moment when a branch or a piece of stone suggests what it could become. A curve becomes a support. A natural edge gives a table its outline. Aspen Stone begins there, working with the grain, texture, and irregularities that make each material worth noticing.
The finished piece has a job to do, but it also has a point of view. Something useful to live with, and something new to notice each time you pass.
